The market town of Wolfurt is located on the outskirts of the Rhine Valley between Dornbirn and Bregenz. Thanks to its attractive position between these two cities, the last 50 years have seen an economic upturn with an associated growth in population.
Today two parallel development roads characterise the town; a good example of ribbon development can still be seen when viewed from the old central settlements of Dorf and Rickenbach. The so-called “upper road” is largely flanked by typical Rhine Valley houses which, thanks to excellent renovation work and careful modernisation, have enabled the town to retain its traditional character.

Located just a few minutes away from the Sternen Hotel.
The town offers a number of regular events and organised activities, all with their own traditional venue. Among these are the “Cubus”, a multi-functional centre extraordinaire, and the club house. The numerous societies span a wide spectrum of activities covering many spheres of interest.
On Friday afternoons the weekly market is held on the Dorfplatz. Numerous excellent pubs and inns provide visitors with food and drinks. A further highlight is the toy museum.
