Wolfurt
The market town of Wolfurt is located on the outskirts of the Rhine Valley between Dornbirn and Bregenz. Thanks to its attractive position between these two cities, the last 50 years have seen an economic upturn with an associated growth in population.
Today two parallel development roads characterise the town; a good example of ribbon development can still be seen when viewed from the old central settlements of Dorf and Rickenbach. The so-called “upper road” is largely flanked by typical Rhine Valley houses which, thanks to excellent renovation work and careful modernisation, have enabled the town to retain its traditional character.
